• two Australians & their 1 year old son • 8 countries • 2000 kilometres
• a tandem, trailer, a tent • 2 months • LOTS of fun!

Beginning in June, 2006, we will pick up our tandem, trailer and panniers in Freiburg, Germany and then travel down to Venice. Itally to begin pedalling. We will endeavour to travel through Italy, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Luxemberg, France and England, finishing our trip in Edinburgh, Scotland in August 2006. We aim to travel a minimum of 200 km a week on a tandem bike towing a Burley child trailer. We will take our well-travelled laptop with us and use internet cafes to post blog entries and email articles and reviews. We will camp for most of the journey, pack very very light and eat fresh locally-produced food and pastries. Lots of pastries.
